ahhh. I am so excited. My budget for invites was extremely low and I did not feel like diying them. I wanted to share two web sites I found with affordable invitations (some of their products better than others). Annsbridalbargains and invitationsbydawn. Ann’s will send you 5 samples free, dawns will send you 3 invites free. I thought for my price range I would have to go with something flat, white, and boring. Well I received my samples today (two days after ordering) and I was thrilled! The sealandsends at both web sites are great. They are relatively small, but look very nice and include the invite, reception and response card all in one. No envelope is required, and it saves money and paper. My favorite of the Ann’s seal and sends are photo 1 below. They are not too thin of paper and have design on all sides. They are also $107 for 100, and you can find online coupons for 10-20% off usually.
I also sampled a flat invitation at Anns, (photo B) and loved it if you want a traditional invite that isn’t too cheap looking.. It has embossed bordering and an embossed motif on ecru paper. The response and reception cards are seperate, but they are like $60 for 100, so even with the other two items it would be around $130 (plus discounts!)
My favorite invitation of all was from Dawn’s. It was also a seal and send made of recycled paper (pic c). You can not tell from the pic but the paper quality is awesome for the price..heavy, linen, textured paper, design on all sides..response reception and invite, no envelope needed, fancy looking and only $150 plus there are coupons! personalized seals included
I am excited now and just wanted to share. 🙂
