Halloween is coming, Mr. 99 and I love it! More than any other holiday, we adore the scares and costumes, pumpkins and parties…ALL OF IT!
We have a pair of friends, who just got engaged, that share our total unabashed love of the season…which is great, we co-host a party every year and I’m currently working on my costume…
ANYWAY, for the past four years, Mr. 99 and I have stayed home from probably the best and most fun of all Halloween traditions, haunted houses, because he was usually post op and could barely get around the house, let alone a dark scary one with stobe lights and people dressed like scarecrows lurking about…
My question: In my never ending quest to spoil Mr. 99 rotten, and have crazy awesome fun with crazy awesome people, I’m contemplating renting a limo and having us and our friends taken to 2 or 3 houses to start off the season….awesome or annoying?

@Nona99: I think it sounds very true to your personality and relationship, meaning it sounds fun, awesome, sweet, and wonderful all mixed into one! Do it 🙂

I would 100% be down for this! I love scary stuff. I usually end up laughing because I’m having such a good time instead of screaming lol.
And it is very sweet of you to want to go all out for the poor guy who’s had to miss out the past few years!

@Nona99: How would that be annoying?! It sounds ah-maz-ing. Can I come? 😉

@Nona99: Hell yes. Awesome.
If you really REALLY want to spoil him, fly down here & go to Delusion. It’s this interactive haunted house/play thing started by a stunt man in Hollywood. Neil Patrick Harris got on board as a producer last year and fed all kinds of $$ into it, so now it’s bigger with more actors and crazy stunts. My friends and I went last year and it was AMAZING. They touched on just about every classic horror genre, scared the crap out of all of us and totally blew my mind. There were things happening two feet from me and I couldn’t figure out how they did it. He’s a man trying to stab me through this fence but now he’s a giant bull-like-creature? Seriously how did that happen? That girl was crawling down the stairs toward us but is now flying backwards up them? What? It was incredible and I can’t wait to go back this year!

Sounds like fun! My SO and I went through a walk through haunted forest last year and had a blast. Pretty sure he screamed louder than me lol.
