Squats, lunges, ashtanga yoga will tone that area right up. Doesn’t matter your about your weight if you don’t have muscle it will not be as smooth.

Interval cardio and weigthed hamstring and thigh exercises.

Jillian Michael’s Killer Buns and Thighs worked for me.  I wasn’t even aiming to get rid of it because I didn’t think it was possible — it just seemed part of the anatomical hand I was dealt.  Unfortunately, that’s the first place my fat goes, so the only way for me to keep it off is to have a lower fat percentage than is healthy.  Boo!  But even if not totally gone, your legs will look much more toned and smooth.

Some people are just born with it, no matter what size.  Lower body exercise will help but won’t get rid of it completely. I was born with a cottage cheese butt and will die with cottage cheese butt no matter how much exercise I do! It’s just something you have to learn to live with.

I like to think of myself as skinny fat. I’m 5’4” and am 120 lbs at my WORST. But even at 115, 110, 105, 102, 100, 98 (don’t ask, I had some unhealthy years), the cellulite was always there!! But dont believe that it won’t go away!!! You just have to work really hard but trust me, if you do, it’ll get sooo much better. For the first time in my entire life after about 6-8 months of consistent weight training, I was able to walk around at the beach in just my bikini with no shorts, no skirt, no towel, NOTHING! Can you even imagine that?? I was living in New York and was doing Physique 57 and cardio at the gym about 4-6 times per week. I was working full time and in school so it is doable no matter what. It’s just really hard and while it does get easier, it’s never that easy. I’ve since moved away and I’m back to the way I was. I bought the Physique 57 DVDs and am doing their August Challenge (you can look it up online) so I’ll let you know what happens a month from now!!

Massage helps to break up the fat cells. Cellulite is fat clumped up.

@nushka:  yay physique 57! im totally a fan of barre workouts – i like corefusion from exhale. how do you push yourself as hard as the class when you do the dvds?
