I would go. How far apart are your weddings. If your guest list is small, I’m sure it won’t even come up.

How far would you have to go to attend her wedding?  What would be the worst outcome if you invited her to yours?

She thought enough of you to invite you, I dont think I’d blow it off for no good reason.  Espeically if you have other friends you can visit while there and stay with.

I would go to her wedding, and if the question comes up, say that you’re really sorry but it was an issue of pruning people you cared about for family.  I mean, she has no way of knowing how many special aunts your fiance has, right?

I would definitely go. She’s your friend – even if your’e not bffs – and she wanted to invite you. These days people have to draw all sorts of lines for their guest lists, and they’re very different from person to person. If it happens to come up just say, “Ours wedding is very small, but I’m so glad I got to celebrate with you today!”

@AmandaShea8:  how would it be rude to go to a wedding you were invited to?  I’d go
