My fiance (for those who don’t know, I’m in a same-sex relationship of 7 years) said she’d gladly get all her stuff second hand (ebay, thrift stores) so that we can make the dress work that I think I’ve decided on. I still have to try and find it in person and try it on, but I think I’m in love, and was upset because it’s $300 more than I had intended to spend!
Our budget is super tight as it is, but she said she’d sacrifice so I can have this dress and I am reminded once again why I love her so!!

Awww, my Fiance did something similar today. I decided I wanted to do a choreographed dance for our first dance and since then had been having second thoughts about my dress because it is a mermaid cut which is not exactly dance-move friendly. I started searching the web again today for dresses and was agonizing over it when my Fiance saw me and asked what was wrong.
I tried to explain but it was hard for him to understand not knowing what a mermaid cut was so I showed him the dress. He loves it, like truly loves it and pointed out all the details about it that I love too. He cannot wait to see me in it. What a relief!!!
Then he said, since I was under-budget, I should go out and get a second dress to wear to the reception that is more danceable. He is brilliant! Another reason why I love him. 🙂
Also, YEY!!! A 2nd dress. 🙂
