So last night, I’d come home early and cleaned the apartment, bought groceries, and had dinner going for when Mr. H got home. I’d also been SHAMELESSLY watching New Girl (he’s never watched it). Now, for the most part, Mr. H and I have identical taste in TV; I don’t subject him to chick flicks or rom-coms ever, because 99% of the time I hate them. So we match when it comes to what we like to watch (although I still don’t understand a 26 year old man’s interest in Dragon Ball-Z but whatever).
He was so sweet; he thanked me for handling groceries/cleaning/dinner, but he then proceeded to sit down and watch an entire season of New Girl reruns with me. I know it’s such a small thing, but I thought it was so sweet and adorable that he’d watch a chicky show with me. We only get a few hours with each other a week due to extenuating work and school schedules at the moment–thank GOD for 1 more semester until the end–and it just warmed my heart that he would spend the little bit of time he had to relax that day watching New Girl with me, lol.
What moments do you and your SO/FI/DH have like this that make ya go, “awwww!”?

@MrsHalpert: aww that is very sweet! SO would probably play on his phone the whole time haha
I have them all the time, but last week was a really AWWW moment. It was our 2.5 year anniversary (obviously not a huge milestone or one that is celebrated) i was just going to make him some cookies and go out to a nice dinner. He comes over with not only one but TWO presents! He stopped by a funky little store I like and got me a bag and a dress! And it is totally my style PLUS he even picked up a shirt for my brother since he has trouble finding larger sizes. How amazing is this man?

Awww……I love those moments!
Hmm, the “aww moment” that first popped into my head is when my Fiance called me from work the other night just to tell me that he can’t wait to marry me.
I love him. <3

@MrsHalpert: Awww… we both LOVE New Girl!
I have tons of aww moments, but a tiny one today was that he came home for lunch and brought me a peppermint mocha cause I started getting ready for Christmas (shopping/getting decorations together) and he thought it would fit my mood. π
A BIG one for me is when he shows how much he loves my little 1 year old nephew. He bought little Monsters Inc cups with snap on lids & straws because he knew we’re trying to teach him to use straws now. They dance together when we’re babysitting. He lets my nephew brush his hair cause it’s his favorite thing & I refuse to let him brush mine cause it’s curly. It’s just adorable and my nephew really really loves him too.

@leisha606: awww I love that! I think it is truly adorable when they not only show they’re thinking of you, but they do thoughtful things for your family too. So precious π
@MissPine: wow, I think I would have cried on the phone, lol. That is such a sweet phone call to get!
@MexiPino: That was so sweet of him! I think it’s adorable to see grown men be good with kids in the family; I know it probably gave you butterflies! π I know how I get when I watch Mr. H with his 2 nieces…it’s so cute it makes me want to get knocked up so I can watch him with our kids. LOL!

@MrsHalpert: Darling Husband had to be at work at 4am yesterday. We have one car so I had to get up and drive him. As I was getting ready for work at 6, I heard a weird beeping noise and realized that he had programed our coffee maker to make my coffee for me. I know it’s a super little thing, but it was really sweet of him to think of me at 3:30 in the morning!

@MrsHalpert: Since my husband and I have been together I have put on some weight. Admittedly, I was too skinny when we met, but the weight gain has been very hard on me. Obviously I have outgrown a lot of my clothes and I absolutely hate having to buy new clothes to fit my new size! My husband is normally very frugal when it comes to day to day life and does not like to spend money on things. However, any time I need to buy bigger clothes he is very supportive, never says a word about the money and says to get whatever I need. Last time I had to do this I was very upset and when I came home from shopping he had a dozen pink roses for me and wine! I melted! Not many men will buy their wives flowers for spending money, haha. Love him!
