hmmmm that is definitely a tough one…. on the one hand, i can not justify spending that much on an article of clothing…thats just me…. BUT it is something your hubby would probably love and since it was only made that season could potentially end up being something really valuable in the long run (or not) ….so i dunno… sorry, i know that wasnt any help…lol

I can see how $150 is a lot for a hoodie, but if it’s something Darling Husband wants and is within the budget, I wouldn’t have an issue with it. Sometimes that’s the beauty of a gift. Buying something for someone else that you wouldn’t necessarily buy yourself.

My husband’s really into football, so I can relate =]

If he’s been talking about it for two years he must REALLY love it. I think he’d likely wear it all the time. I’d get it for him and a couple of tiny stocking stuffer things and call it good. I usually spend at least $300 on Darling Husband for Christmas, but I get a bit carried away, I love shopping for him, LOL!

This is something that you will probably not be able to get for much longer.  Yes, it is expensive now, but if he really likes it (and has commented on it several times over the course of two years) then I would get it.  He just might not get much else with his present is all.

As a side note…it is a really nice hoodie!

Can you find it on ebay or amazon? Or did you find the exact one from 2007 for $150? I’d say it sounds like he loves it, you should get it for him.

If it’s within budget, then go for it! It sounds like he would really love it.  I’m like bakerella though; I spend $300-400 on my Boyfriend or Best Friend around the holidays (hanukkah and christmas) because I just like shopping for him and buying him presents.
