Sorry this is a long one but I just want to get it out there….
First off none of us had any issues with ordering, reading the size chart, shipping…all that was good.
6 of the bridesmaids ordered the same dress (called Josie) all in different shades. When the dress came the initial try on seemed good for them. I was the Maid/Matron of Honor and I ordered the dress Karla in a different shade that wasn’t available in Josie. I did a custom order, which seemed fine at the initial try on but the zipper was stuck, I thought maybe I just ordered it a little too small, mind you I am a 36DDD trying on a strapless dress. So I went to a tailor and she got it zipped right up so size wasn’t the issue, it was trying not to break the zipper. So I used some vaseline and it zipped a little easier, but I could see on one side that the zipper was starting to get loose at the seam so I didn’t want to mess with it till I had to wear it for the wedding.
The night before the wedding one of the bridesmaids was trying her dress on when the back clasp jewels popped off. We sewed them back on and all was good. Well the wedding day came and we all got in our dresses..some dresses were a little tight (as in one girl was like OMG I cant breathe). Their back clasps did not seem very secure, for 3 girls the jewels were just for show and we had to safety pin the fabric together. They were also looking at the jeweled waist band and noticed that most of them were different. It looked like they cut it here and put it in a dress, then cut it there and put it on. It as a very small detail and we could only probably tell because we were all looking at them so closely.
Overall I’d say that the experience was OK. We paid about $130 per dress. I would recommend custom sizing and to try it on right when you get it and double check the sewing and the seams. Also if you are all getting the same dress in the same color order them in a bulk order to that you all look identical (we weren’t too concerned about that because they all had a different shade). Make sure you check the measurements for the length in the shoes you will be wearing.
