Yes, because I was deficient.  I was taking the synthetic form.  It worked but they made me nauseous.  Now, I take the natural form.  Sometimes I let them dissolve under my tongue, but it takes awhile and I was only borderline deficient so I tend to just swallow them.  If it didn’t work I would be getting shots.  I think you would have to have a serious problem for the shots to not work.

I just take the gummies and they do seem to work a little. They aren’t magic or anything, but I do find myself with a bit more energy when I take the recommended dosage.

I skip the B vitamin supplements because, as my Vitamins and Minerals professor in school said, “Its just paying for expensive urine”

However if you have a deficiency, thats a different story.

I also get a lot of B vitamins in my diet through nutritional yeast, which I use to flavor salads and pastas and to make vegan cheese substitutes (even though I’m not vegan, they are just way healthier)

I take them because I’m vegetarian. Right now I’m taking only 50 mcg tablets because I had too much B12 on my last blood test. Before that I was taking 1200 mcg tablets (doctor recommended) because I was deficient on my blood test.

To be honest, I haven’t really noticed a difference in my energy level, but that might be because my doctor *now* thinks I’m iron deficient.

I take them from Nature Made and get the time released capsules. I don’t get enough protein in my diet. They help a lot with energy throughout the day! Plus I take Magnesium, Vitamin E, daily Vitamin and Omega 3!

I take them all in the morning with a drinkable yogurt. I feel soo much better by taking my vitamins daily.

I take them but have never noticed a difference…I know some people who swear by them as long as they are in the liquid form.

My parents inject each other with B12 since that’s the best way for your body to absorb it. I got a B12 shot a couple weeks ago at the doctor’s office and didn’t really notice a difference, but my parents usually do. They say it gives them more energy (:

You only get B12 from animals and microorganisms, not plants.  Vegans especially should be watching their B12 levels.  I was never veggie, but increased how much meat I ate when it was found I was deficient.

I did notice a difference when I started the vitamins, but I was dealing with other issues.  Over the years I have been tested for anemia, sometimes my iron was high, other times it was low. I suspect that the times it was high but I felt anemic my B12 was the issue.  Now, I make sure to not miss a day of hte B12 when going off my BCP and I take them properly at that time (under the tongue).  I find it does help with the anemic feeling – B12 is important for RBC formation.

I take all sorts of ‘B’s. I HAVE to have them daily. I’ve never been diagnosed as having a deficiency but I can tel in a heartbeat the moment it has left my system. I become VERY lethargic, tired, depressed. Once my system is saturated I’m happy, energetic, calm. I can even feel the moment they’ve kicked in. Yeah, it’s depressing that I now have expensive urine. But without B I would be in a terrible mess.
