No girlie, you’re not crazy, I do the same thing ALL the time! Take my trip this past weekend, perfect example!

If anyone should feel crazy it’s me, and trust me I feel like a crazy person all time! Any time my SO tells me he’s going to be late coming home because he needs to stop at his mom’s or a friend’s house for something I think to myself “I wonder if he’s really going to make a payment on or pick up my ring?!!”. Atleast YOU know that there IS a ring, I on the other hand just have a wild imagination.

Don’t be too upset, you will have your ring soon, and then you will be free of all these “crazy” moments! ๐Ÿ™‚

Honey, if I had $1 for every time I thought all the signals were pointing to a proposal, I could buy the entire jewelry store!  It just means that you’re super excited to be his wife.  There’s nothing wrong with that.  I’ve said it before…boys just don’t understand.

No your not. I’ve gotten my hopes up waay to many times to remember. Several have been legit but others were just random hopes… I never tell him though because the poor guy is clueless and I don’t want to pressure him…. but your not alone. Your never alone. I’m glad you posted this so I don’t feel alone! ๐Ÿ˜€

@CarolinaCola: I’m so glad that someone else does this!  I was starting to worry.  My SO is notorious for doing random sweet things so at lease once a week I think “OMG THIS IS IT” only to find that the big surprise in the backyard was a fire with hard cider and smores, or look I finally set up the new TV like you wanted!  Sheesh!  I guess I can’t complain about all the sweet stuff though!

@impatientlypatient: lmao! Totally there with you, you sound just like me!  Glad to also find out I’m not alone ๐Ÿ˜€

@CarolinaCola:  last night I thought maybe something was up simply because SO didn’t turn the tv on in the bedroom to watch before we went to bed like he normally does, lol!!

You’re not crazy – it’s a natural reaction when you get your hopes up.  Heck, I thought maybe I was getting a ring and I got an electric toothbrush!  Imagine my dissappointment on that one.

Nice toothbrush though.

Nope, you are not crazy. I used to do this, too. Any time he was late, or online for a little longer than usual…I was sure that it had something to do with rings!

@prshadow: OMG!  My SO told me he had an awesome present for me when I came back from England.  I step off the plane and he gives me a sonicare!  All of my girls were so confused haha

@CarolinaCola:  You are NOT an idiot!  Knowing that he purchased a ring would make my mind wander like that too!  I don’t think guys understand. . .but you have to give him credit for trying/pretending to get it.  Hopefully he understands enough to know to call or text when something like that happens so that he can avoid sending you on an emotional roller coaster!

Hahahaha!!!  I have to laugh because the OP and everyone else on here sounds just like me!!!!  Every single time he says he has to ‘run errands’ on a Saturday or after work, I totally think it’s because he is either making a payment on a ring for me or shopping for it lol!!! I thought I was crazy, but now I feel better lol!  I hope you do too!
