Congratulations. Sorry to hear that he came a bit early and has to have NICU time, but it sounds like he’s doing well. It’s excellent news that his lungs are in good shape!! Congratulations again!

Good luck to you and little Alexander; I hope his stay in the NICU is short and that you’re able to take him home soon.  Congrats on becoming a momma!

Congratulatiion! I am sorry he came early and needs to stay in NICU for a while. Hopefully he picks up on oral feeding quickly and doesn’t have to stay too long.

He’s a really good weight for being so early and he does not look like a preemie at all.  He’s beautiful (if a little yellow:).  Mine had the bili lights too.  It passes and they pink up real nice.  Congratulations!

Congrats!  Sounds like a bit of a scary experience for you but very glad to hear all is going well with little Alexander!  And may I just commend you on choosing a brilliant name – it’s my DH’s name as well!  🙂

@Sassygrn I am sure he will figure out feeding soon! When my preemie was born he couldn’t regulate his temp so he would have gone home sooner if not for that. I wouldn’t be worried aobut the billi lights. My son loves looking at pics of himself with his “sunglasses” on. 🙂
