Hi Bee’s! *sorry – originally posted in the wrong place!*
My hubby and I are planning on TTC later this year, and like a lot of men he is a little clueless on all things baby. We have a couple of friends with little ones who we spend a bit of time with, and he is not at all uncomfortable handling them, being thrown up on etc etc LOL (although sometimes he is a little awkward with them, holding them in funny positions etc LOL). I think he feels a little lost on how things work with babies, what to do in emergencies, and general baby info but he really wants to learn. He is always asking questions about pregnancy and labour, what you can and can’t do with babies and what to expect. I think he would really appreciate having a book he can read that can help fill in future dad’s about what to expect during a pregnancy, and the first year of being a daddy.
Does anyone have any book recommendations? We are reading “what to expect before you are expecting” but there was minimal info in it for him. I just want to make sure he is as ready as he can be and be educated on what he will be able to do and how he can better prepare for having a newborn in the house.
