I picked up The Baby Book while TTC and marked sections for my husband to read, I was surprised he really liked it! The Pregnancy Book (both by Dr. Sears) he also liked reading, we’d go through each month together and he has felt much more a part of my pregnancy

Now that birth is approaching, I picked up the Birth Partner by Simkin and it’s written exclusively for dads/doulas/birth attendants. I love it, it’s straightforward, simple to read and very informative. It has helped me prepare for birth too. It even covers potential emergency situations, how to handle them (like how the dad can deliver a baby if you don’t reach the hospital in time!), exactly what tests/interventions they use in the hospital and why – it’s very good. I also just marked pages in their for my husband to read.
