I love the name Emmett. It’s well known, but not super common. Not a fan of Desmond, and Mason is so over used.

Emmett is very cute. Do you have a middle name? You could use Mason as a middle name.

If you’re still wanting to think about a few more, nameberry.com has something called namehunter, where you can add your ‘inspiration’ favourite names (start with those three) and it will suggest more names along the same style.

I love Desmond. But that’s my nephew’s name so I’m a little biased to it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Spinwife:  I voted for Desmond! I have that name on my “list” for boys. I love it!!! I think Mason is too popular and Emmett is just a name I’ve never been a fan of.

To me it depends on the flow of the first, middle, and last. It has to sound good together and flow together – not sound choppy as you say the 3 names or even just the first and last. Also I look at initials too.

Spinwife:  oh everybody loves it. We call him Des. He’s 18 months. That’s why my sister liked it too. Because of Lost.
