trying to avoid asking those we know IRL to avoid rude opinions & those stories of “oh i once knew a so & so … ” etc.
middle name will be Leslie after DH’s middle name and Father-In-Law who just passed away 2 days before our wedding. im having a hard time finding any name that i really enjoy that flows with leslie so i’ve given up on the whole flow. its a family name and thats important so its staying, but now only if we could find a first!
paxton was officially our first favorite, always planned as paxton henry & but once we decided on leslie we thought we’d save paxton henry for a possible future son. (henry after my grandpa) then eventually decided paxton leslie is okay. paxton is also moving up on the popularity list and its really a goal of mine to avoid my son having to be differentiated in class by last name initial. i hated growing up with sarah B sarah C sarah V ay yi yi. no thanks.
sometimes i also wonder if paxton sounds weird since it ends in “N”, along with our last name.
then i began to love rush & crew. Darling Husband began to love zeke & graier (grey) – we’ve been at a stand still for a while! lol!

I like Paxton, different but cute. Came across the name Cash the other day too, thought it was unique and kind of a cool name! 😉

Croix reminds me of the island 🙂 Pax is cute. I even like Crew a bit.

@MsJ2theZ: i agree! Darling Husband and i LOVE cruising and do it every year so croix & crew just make me think of all wonderful things warm and sunny 🙂

Paxton is cute, but I’d be afraid of kids calling my boy Tampax, so I voted for Rush.

@deetroitwhat: LOL! i NEVER thought of that! i do remember thinking when jessica simpson named her daughter maxwell if people would be calling her maxi or maxi pad. but never thought of paxton/tampax!

@wifegoodman: Haha I know, I did too. And kids are so mean… so I am terrified of crazy names for that reason, even though I think Paxton is mild. I have a very common girl’s first name and I was still warped into something in 7th grade that kids called me until we graduated high school. Luckily it was nothing related to women’s sanitary products though lol.

I like Graier out of that list. But that’s because it reminds me of one of my favourite names at the moment…Greyson.

Graier. I also like Crew!

I like Zeke/Ezekiel of the bunch. If you really like Paxton, don’t save it! You might not get another chance to use it.

Here are some other “weird” names that are generated from the ones above. I think you need to find one that sounds better with Leslie…
This list was generated from Rush:

I think it is unique but still strong.

@mkat37: greyson is my husbands favorite but i refused because of its popularity LOL. so i threw graier in there since the nickname for either would be grey.
@MrsB1015: ditto ditto ditto!! <3 so much!
