sara_tiara: I like Austin too but our last name starts with an A so we are avoiding that letter.
CocoLoco523: Yeah we are really excited! This name thing is throwing us though, we just can’t seem to agree. If it was a girl we would have this down as we have a girl name we both love. Nothing is easy!
Mircat: Great list! Unfortunately most of those already belong to family members. Bumer huh?

For a long time, Darling Husband and I were settled on Malcolm. Then one day we kind of came up with Henry out of the blue, and now we are totally in love with it.

Hey chick –
Do you plan on using the middle name often? If not I would just go with your favorite name, I mean it’s nice that it flows a little bit, I had the same worry about picking a middle name for the first name Luca – I ended up with my husbands name.
Darrel is a reeaaaally hard middle name to pair with, so I would just go with whatever you love best!

wvlefty: I love Benjamin!
Treejewel19: I think Anthony Darrel, Mark Darrel, Ethan Darrel, Julian Darrel all go well. Best of luck. I think naming a child is serious business. 🙂

Ms.Pink: Awww our 2 month old is named Clark 🙂
The other names on our list were Colin, Jack, Evan, and Mark.
What are the names your husband likes? Do they fit a certain theme? I know mine tended to so maybe you can find out what that is and work out a name that way?

BellaDee: Thanks lady! No we don’t really plan on using it much, other than it being there. I will try to convince my husband to see that perspective as he is so picky.
IzzyBear: Love Peyton!
candy11: I like Julian as well and it was on one of my original lists. He shot that down too. 🙁
SaraP2012: My husband doesn’t have a theme or a trend that he follows which makes it that much more difficult. He pulls out random comments about names. Some he doesn’t like because they are associated with people he doesn’t care for (past or present in his life), some are nixed because he “thinks they are too trendy/dumb.” Some a nixed immediately because of his huge family. So far the only names he likes are Zane, Garrett (but not his top choice) and one other that may end up being our son’s name just because I am over this! I don’t care for Zane really so that is out. Love Garrett and the other name is probably up there too. It is not a common name and I am surprised he likes it because it does have an association with a movie character (which by his reasoning should be out).

MrsTeasandkeys: I just named my son Grant!

mamadingdong: Awesome! Its a strong name. My dad and grandfather’s middle name is Grant so thats why we are using it for a middle name, but I had a professor named Grant and its a great name.

Every single person says “that’s such a strong name.” Seriously, every single time. I LOVE it! Easy to say and spell, sounds presidential, not overly common. And my baby is just Grant- I can’t imagine him being anything else!

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone suggest Lucas.
