I started having baby fever like a decade ago lol.. it was always in the back of my mind, over the years, when I was single, and sometimes it would get more intense. However, it was never a real possibility, until now! Fiance and I want to start trying right after the wedding. I’m 30, he’s 36.
My baby fever is pretty calm right now because I have so much to get done. I’m moving to FI’s city in a month, we are planning a wedding, I am emptying my current apartment, etc… When we’re married and settled, I have a feeling the baby fever will increase!

Maybe it is something about getting married. When we were engaged we wanted to wait until 3-4 years after marriage to TTC. However, since then BOTH of us have had baby fever (my husband evne more than me!). I’m in a career where it actually makes more sense to have kids younger before you move up too high professionally. We want to move across country this summer, so that is our focus now, but we are pretty seriously discussing TTC after that (to the point where it is basically a plan). We kind of let it slip a little bit to our parents and they are over the top excited about it (we were both the first from our families to get married and will mostly give both sets of parents their first grandchild). They go out of there to constantly talk about how great babies are now… hahaha I grew up in a family of three, with my sister being MUCH younger than me and my brother. Now that my baby sister is getting ready for college and I just got married, my mom wishes she had 4 kids- one in between the huge age gap, and is promoting 4 children for us. I think 4 might be a bit much, but we shall see.

winterwoodlandbride15: LOL I’ve been married for 2 weeks and already I’m, “OK! Let’s do this!”
Not wise and we both know that. We’re looking for a house currently.

winterwoodlandbride15: Fiance and I both have it but we are getting married/ have a honeymoon in June and we have some things we want to do before babies.
We will graduate next Decemeber and then find a house. After that it is game time lol no holding back- we can travel with a baby! 🙂

I am past the point of baby fever! We have been married since May and decided to start TTC during the end of spring/beginning of summer of 2015. I would want babies now and Darling Husband wants to wait a little longer so we had to compromise. When we have a baby, we decided that I would turn into a stay at home mom so we just want to prepare for that and hopefully a house first. I see so many babies and I just can’t wait to have my own

Vivi30: It absolutely will! Good luck with all of your exciting changes!
mgbser: Lol, I’ve been getting the ‘why wait’ speech from my parents. After all we’re ‘practicially married’ It’s great to know the family will be supportive and is looking forward to babies!
My Fiance is one of 4, it does seem like a lot! But, I’ve been seeing larger families again, maybe it’s coming back in style haha. We’re plannng 3 or 4. Depending on how we feel/are financially.
BurlapnLace: Damn you logic! Haha
lynnielou33193: Exactly! There’s somethings we want to do too! But, it’s not like you can’t do anything after baby either haha.
islandx0sunset: I know the feeling! I wanted to TTC right away, he wanted to wait a year or two. So we’re waiting almost a year. It’ll help you become more established in your house. 🙂

Been there, done that, bought the tee shirt!
I had CRAZY baby fever right after the wedding. As we’ve gotten closer to our TTC timeline, my desire for a baby has intensified, but it doesn’t feel like “baby fever” anymore, if that makes sense.

I’ve been having lots of dreams lately about being pregnant/being a mum. I’ve had lots of family members have babies recently as well and being around their little ones has made me really want one of my own! But we’ll be waiting to TTC for at least another 2-4 years which I know is the logical thing to do but this baby fever makes it hard to wait!!
