We have two names in mind – Hadley and Kenley. Darling Husband is leaving the final decision up to me.
I have always loved the name Hadley…until I saw Kenley. The thing is, I understand “Ken” is masculine. Darling Husband doesn’t like Kensley/Kinley, etc. His dad’s name is Ken though, so it kind of make sense.
My mom hates the name Hadley. I know I shouldn’t let other people’s opinions sway my decision but it does slightly.
The middle name would most likely be Rose.

Love Kenley! Esp since its part of your dads name!

Kenley is really pretty and I love it with the middle name Rose

I honestly don’t like either but if I had to pick one I would pick Hadley.

Hmm if I had to pick I wouldn’t go with Hadley it just sounds bad

I don’t like either of them…they are part of a name trend I hate right now. If I had to pick one it would be Hadley.

I think the pronouncation of Kenley is easier than Hadley. Something about Hadley doesn’t seem to flow well.

I prefer the name Kinley, or Kenley in your case. I like Hadley too but it just seems like it takes more effort to say and is less flowy I guess. But I would also vote for the name with the easiest spelling for her sake growing up, so that would be Hadley.

I prefer Kenley, but I can totally see why hubby wouldn’t want it since his dad is Ken. :-/

He does like Kenley! I was just pointing out that his dads name is Ken, so it makes sense to have a Kenley vs Kinley, etc. Sorry for the confusion!
I do agree that Hadley doesn’t flow as nicely.

I don’t like either but if I had to pick I’d choose Hadley.

I actually don’t like that Kenley is so close to your FIL’s name. I feel like that means you have to name other future kids after someone ..I don’t know haha. Either way, I prefer Hadley! What about Hallie?
Hallie/Halle was on my list but Darling Husband didn’t like it.
I really don’t like either of them, but I think Hadley is slightly preferable to Kenley. Kenley just sounds like a ditzy woo-girl name.

I pronounce Kinley and Kenley differently, and I much prefer Kinley to Kenley. If I heard Kenley, my mind would automatically think “Ken Lee” because I know someone named Kenneth Lee who goes by Ken-Lee.
Have you considered Kennedy, Kendra, Kenna, Kendall, Kenya, or Kenzie?
