@luvalways86:  I voted for Leighton, but what about Brynn?  (Kind of a mix of a couple you have there)  I love it.

I’m not trying to be rude, honest, but I haven’t voted for any of these. There are so many beautiful unique names that aren’t place names. I don’t know why but they drive me crazy, Bristol in the UK is a pretty horrible scummy city and I would hate people to think of that when they saw my daughter. Are there any particular cultures/origins you connect with where you might find inspiration? I hope this doesn’t sound mean, I really don’t mean it to!

None of these names are my taste, but I voted for Leighton because it seems the most feminine & normal.

I voted for Leighton, because of Leighton Meister from Gossip Girl.

I would stay far, far away from Bristol, unless you really want everyone to associate your daughter with Sarah Palin and teenage pregnancy.

I’m all for unique, but not with taking traditional spellings of things and changed them by replacing vowels with “y”. It just seems kind of cheesy and stripper-eque to me.

Can’t really pick one. One of my biggest pet peeves is making up spellings for names and making up new names, sorry. There are plenty of beautiful unique names to pick from without making ones up. My dd’s name has yet to reach the top 500. πŸ™‚

I voted Leighton, but that’s because it’s a top contender for my own future little girls.  Haha!  Love it!
