Claudia! All the others (except Ella) could have multiple pronunciations, which could be annoying in the future.

I personally love Ella, but could never use it, because it’s similar to our last name.

eh I picked Lara… I’m biased …  I have a niece with this name(oh and she’s 29 and never had anyone in her class with this name) … and they pronounce it …. Lara rhymes with Tara/Kara/Sara/Farrah

I like Clara because it reminds me of The Nutcracker ballet and I can imagine most little girls would love to have that connection to the ballet.

Claire/Clara are on my short list for a girl, so Clara gets my vote.  I like Ella, too, but it has become really common.

Elisa – I really like Eliza (on the list for me) but Elisa is too complicated for me (Not sure how you would want to pronounce it – and can be both a homophone for Alyssa or similarly sounding names).

Lara – Because of the several possible pronunciations, I would also stay away from this name for me.

Ella – I like this name, but it is too popular for me. It is also a popular nickname for longer names (Isabella, Gabriella, etc.) so

Claudia – Reminds me of the Baby Sitters’ Club books – but it is a beautiful name.

Clara – I have bad associations with the name Clara, but I LOVE Claire.

Carolina – I prefer Caroline to Carolina, but I think Carolina sounds sweet and southern.

I like Ella and Clara, but it depends on the last name… Because something like Ella Mella wouldn’t be too nice, so as long as it’s not a Julia Gulia name situation they are good. πŸ™‚

I really like Lara – but I instantly think Tomb raider – Lara Croft.

Personally, I don’t like Carolina (I love Carolyn) and I’d shorten it to Carli.

I love Clara! It’s on my list too πŸ˜‰ I think Claudia is really nice too (although it makes me think of the Babysitter’s Club haha)
