    Love it!

    Hate it!

Keep both and wait to see her before we decide.

I think old fashion names are making a comeback.  I perfer Charlotte.  The name sylvia reminds me of that scence in dirty dancing.  Sylvia how do you call your loverboy… I say come here loverboy

I don’t like Sylvia, but I love Charlotte!  Not a big fan of a middle name being June though!  Mind you, I really dislike any names that have a month in them (June, May, etc.)  I actually know a woman named December.  I always want to slap her mother.

I like both names.  They are both a bit old fashioned.  I like Charlotte more than Silvia.

Charlotte is a fine name, but Silvia June is lovely. There are SO MANY Charlottes, I have met at least 15 girls with this name in the past few years.

But I have only ever met one Silvia (and she is wonderful). As others have said, it is a beautiful, unique name without being weird. And the heritage makes it so special.

Though I love the name Charlotte and it’s a name I want to use as a middle name in the future, I must admit I think Silvia June has a better ring to it.  It seems to flow better with your chosen middle name.  And I can understand wanting a different name since there are a lot of Charlies out there right now.

Both are beyond sweet!  I think I prefer Charlotte June just a little more, because it has such a nice rhythm to it.

I think Silvia is a bit old fashioned, but destined for a comeback. Many of the most popular names now are older (people using grandma’s name, maybe?) like Sophia, Audrey, Emma.

I have one of those “old lady” names. My name was polular in the 20s-40s. The people I meet with my name are usually friends grandma’s or aunts. That being said I LOVE having one of those names and I plan to give my daughter, if I am lucky enought to have one, a classic name. I think Silvia is a lovely name 🙂

I actually think that June is much more popular than Charlotte nowadays, especially for a middle name.

I love both names. Silvia does automatically make me think of the song from Dirty Dancing… which it’s fun to have a song with your name in it – especially one that makes you want to dance. Google ‘Love is Strange’ if you don’t know the song.

I LOVE Charlotte! The weird thing about this is, literally just yesterday, I told Fiance that if we evere had a girl, I wpuld want to name her Charlotte (mind you I am 21, and not wanting kids until we are financially stable). What a coincidence!

I like “Sylvia,” but I get that that’s not an option, so I’d say Charlotte.
