    Love it!

    Hate it!

Keep both and wait to see her before we decide.

I think Charlotte is definitely more universal.  I think Silvia just is old-lady-ish, like you said.  It makes me think of the Golden Girls tv show, for some reason!

I think both names are adorable! I am amazed by how split the votes are.

One of my best friend’s is named Sylvia and I’ll admit growing up we always felt her name was a little old sounding and never really fit her personality, but it was a family name and her family was European.  Ironically, she just had a baby a couple of months ago and named her Charlotte.

Silvia spelled with an I opens up way too many ways for kids to misspell it and make up names like Saliva.  Even in typing you can hardly differentiate the I and the L and it almost looks like Slivia.

I don’t mind Silvia but I definitely prefer Charlotte.

I voted love it! But I am still on the keep both and see what suits her side.

I think it is a beautiful name! It is different yet classic. I like that it isn’t super popular.

I’m a bigger fan of Charlotte b/c of the adorable nickname!

Silvia reminds me of Dirty Dancing.

    “Oh Siiiiilvia!”

    “Yes Mickey?”

“How do you call your loverboy??”

    “C’mere loverboy!”
