Pretty sure I would laugh hysterically if Darling Husband put on baby making music while we got it on!

Every now and then my husband will light candles and have Norah Jones or some other soft music playing but that’s just to be romantic. Usually there isn’t any music.

Haha we put on music sometimes because we live in an apartment and don’t want to be rude to neighbors if the bed squeeks or anything and hope it covers up any sounds…and we usually try to put on something w/ a good beat just for practical purposes (usually like…Pitbull’s Pandora channel or something), but not purposefully “sexy” like Barry White type music or anything with the express purpose of the music enhancing the sex…

@Mrs.KMM:  I don’t think you’re odd- my SO and I don’t like having music on when we’re making love either. It just seems weird to have someone else’s voice or music in the background when we’re doing something so private! I’d get distracted too– I’d start listening to the words and feel weird about that!

Well, we don’t turn on music on purpose if thats what you mean. We have done the deed while music has been playing but it could be anything really, we don’t pay attention to it.

We wake up to NPR so that sometimes becomes our backgroud. 😛 He doesn’t even notice it, which makes pillow talk really funny.

Me: “What did you think about that story about the interracial couples?”
Him: “What story? When was that on?”
Me: “While I was ______ and you were ______.”
He’s then mildly offended that I wasn’t 100% in the moment. Um… TURN OFF THE DAMN RADIO THEN!

Yeah… when I get pregnant you better believe I’m buying this:

When I used to live in an apartment with thin walls we used to put on music to cover it up. Now, no, though the tv/DVD might be on in the background.

@MrsYoshida:  +1 that’s our reasoning.  We hit Indie Dance station Pandora and at some points I sing-a-long sure Fiance finds that hot Foot in Mouth

We used to listen to RHCP back in the day when we thought listening to music and gettin’ busy was cool but nowadays, going through the trouble of finding music to put on and setting it up before doin’ the deed… ain’t nobody got time for that!
