My little one just turned 6mo and I am dredding dress shopping! I’ve lost almost all of the baby weight but the last 10lbs are ALL in my tummy! Anyone else in the same boat??? This past week I went to a Herbalife party (??) I’ve never heard of it before, they want you to replace two meals a day with a shake. It seems like it works if you fallow it but I don’t know about a liquid diet. What are your thoughts bees?!?

@lily.whitford: Try slimfast instead. For the same number of calories, it tastes much better than herbalife. I lost 10 pounds very quickly and kept it off. I replaced 2 meals a day with shakes.

I carried most of my baby weight for 9 months. I started tracking my calories using myfitnesspal. I used the website and the ap on my phone. I stayed in the calorie range they recommended to lose 1.5 pounds per week. I lost 30 pounds in under 3 months. My shape was still a bit off, but about a month after I started tracking my food, I started running and doing workout DVDs, usually Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 and the ab one. What helped the most was doing a bunch of different ab exercises/workouts throughout the week, doing cardio, and counting calories.
I used slim fast before, but I just put the weight back on. I had to work to make a change to my diet to really keep the weight off. Plus the slimfast shakes really are hard on your kidneys. You have to drink a LOT of water with each shake.

Dont do herbalife! It may only work initially but it will not keep the fat off! Trust me! If you are going to invest in anything invest in the knowledge that will make you burn fat and lose weight. I was in search for answers and wanted to lose weight too! My wedding is in a month and I have lost 25 pounds oin one month so far! Isabel De los Rios (mommy as well/nutrionist) guodes you through foods that actually burn fat! If it wasnt for this great site I found, I would have kept eating those “healthy foods” that are actually string fat in our bodies Ex; wheat bread, soy milk, Orange Juice, and most “healthy products”! Instead she tests your metabolism type and lets you know what foods suit your body the best! I am a believer in this system and everytime anyone asks me now how I lost so much weight, I only point them to this website:
This link is actually a rebate for the website but directs you straight to what it will take for you to keep the weight off without lousy diets that dont work! or overpriced weight loss products like metlife! Dont le them tie you onto a meaningless contract. be free, eat freely, just smart! I wish I would have known about this in high school! thats for sure!
Sorry for this long message but I know how you feel because I was there and i spend so much money on things that only put a whole in my budet and in my stomach!
