I was planning on getting a video monitor but they are just too pricey for us so I am getting a simple monitor instead.  We don’t have a monitor yet.. it’s the only baby item I didn’t get as baby is with me most of the day and sleeps in our room.   I plan to get the monitor soon but wont use it untilbaby starts sleeping in his own room, which wont bw for a while until he starts sleeping through the night.

I heard wonders about the motorola video monitor… check out amazon.

Dont have a baby – but video monitors are able to be hacked so research carefully before you buy.

We don’t have a monitor set up yet (small house), but I’m planning to just snag a wireless-capable webcam and set it up in the nursery. You can download phone apps that will stream the video feed. This is a cheaper method than the baby monitors with apps, and is going to be ideal for us since I have an iPhone and Darling Husband has an Android. Most of the app-enabled monitors only have iPhone apps.
