Darling Husband didn’t really start feeling movements until about 25 weeks or so, maybe a little bit before then.  I have an anterior placenta though so I didn’t even feel movements until well into week 21.   For the first several weeks, they were incredibly light movements for him and I don’t think it really sunk in that it was his baby he was feeling; however, around 30 weeks, they got a lot stronger and DH’s bond with the baby has really grown since then.  I’m 39 weeks now and Darling Husband is constantly talking to the baby, singing it silly songs, and reading it stories in funny voices because he loves the reaction he gets from the baby.  It really is the sweetest thing.

Hope your Darling Husband can start feeling your baby movements soon!

Apparently I have an anterior placenta but I felt movements at 17 weeks. One night during 20 weeks, the baby was kicking very strongly so I told Fiance to put his hand where she was kicking and he got to feel her πŸ™‚ At 23 weeks he was cuddling me while asleep and had his arm across my stomach and she was kicking his arm pretty strongly which managed to wake him up.

Hopefully your Darling Husband will feel it soon!

It was around 19 weeks for me. It’s not huge movements but when I feel LO moving around I will take DH’s hand and put it on my belly. He feels the little jabs and kicks. I’m now amost 23w and the movement is getting alot stronger.

Darling Husband felt definite movement at 19w4d, I had been feeling it for a while, and put his hand on my belly previous to that, he still wasn’t too sure, but the 19w4d was the first time he was definitely feeling her!

I sort of started feeling movement around 20 weeks. It was vague, but later confirmed when he kicked off the doppler at my 24 week appointment for the heartbeat check. I also have an anterior placenta, but at 30 weeks I can definitely feel him. In bed one night, I was laying on my side and getting really kicked. I grabbed my husband’s hand and he felt him. Right now, Darling Husband teases my belly like with the whole “You’re hurting yourself, but he switches it to “You’re squishing your kid!”

If you want a funny movement story, I went to this baby boutique yesterday because I had to pee. I figured that pregnant woman in a baby boutique would make an easy excuse to pee. While there, they played this rock lullabies album. It seriously put my guy to sleep. I had zero movement until I got to the train where I felt some kicks later.

I didn’t feel actual kicks (just bubbles before) until 20 weeks. Darling Husband was able to feel one here and there last week at 21 weeks!

One of my best friends’ husband didn’t feel their LO until 25 weeks.

@aandmklover:  I’m glad he was able to feel πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

I was actually surprised how soon Darling Husband was able to feel the baby move! I started feeling movement at 17 weeks and he was able to around 20 weeks.

I have an anterior placenta but have felt movement since maybe 18 weeks?  The first time Darling Husband felt her kick was at 21 weeks (on his birthday!) and he had his head on my stomach and at that moment she gave a good strong kick!

Darling Husband has felt the baby move maybe 4 times and I am at 34 weeks.  He couldn’t feel her for a long, long time but it is definitely getting easier for him to feel her now.  I have an anterior placenta so that was blocking a lot of external feeling of the movement.  I just found out yesterday that she’s breech, which also explains why there is not a ton of movement for him to feel.  She’s very sporatic with her movements and quiet most of the day.  It kind of stinks, but it’s something we can’t control.

Both of us finally felt the baby kick yesterday (23w6d)! I was so excited that my Darling Husband felt his baby boy kick on Father’s Day!

Feeling him move has been limited due to an anterior placenta.

My Darling Husband felt it for the first time at 20 weeks. I was two pretty good hard kicks when he had his ear on my belly. But nothing since has been strong enough for him to feel (I’m 21w4d).

I think about 22 weeks…she was shy with him at first! I could feel her all the time, but she would stop anytime he would touch/talk to her. Now, at 33 weeks, he feels her all the time and loves it! It’ll come soon, but I remember how hard it was to wait πŸ™‚
