What about a different combination? I think Ella Marie sounds better than Ella Faith.

They’re all beautiful names, and it’s so hard to choose between them! I ended up voting for Ella Faith, but I had a hard time not picking Sophie Marie too!

I can’t stand alliteration in names. Sound like comic book characters. So, not a fan of Sophie Marie. Both end in the same phoneme and the first and last name also begin with the same sound. Sophia on the other hand would be pretty. Still don’t like the SS, but with Marie, it sounds nice. Ella Faith just doesn’t flow right to me. Ella Marie perhaps? More than one syllable, though. I think Haley (that’s how I’d spell it) Elizabeth flows and sounds the best.

@Countrymousecitymouse:  What’s wrong with Marcella? It’s unusual, classic and beautiful! Everyone is naming their kid Ella and Sophie these days.

@Countrymousecitymouse:  I like Hallie Elizabeth (with that spelling) most.  It’s the most unusual of the 3 options, and I love unique names that are not over the top.  My second vote would be for Ella Faith, but I feel like your daughter will be forever known as Ella S. because that’s becoming such a popular name.

I voted for Ella because I love bathe name. But in my area all three names (as well as Isbella) are so popular I would not surpise if your little girl is one of three in the class with any of the names you selected.

ATM my daughters name when i fiiiinally have kids and if i have a girl is going to be Ella Marie (marie is my mummys name)

but i HATE how popular its getting! iv loved it since i was 15 and it was unheard of, now its everywhere 🙁 so we may rethink it if its still so popular in 5 years.

i LOVE the name sophie, but hubbys wee cousin is called Sophie Grace.

Caitlyn Paige is his other cousin which is super cute

I like Ella & Hallie. <– I’d spell it Hallie, but that’s just how I always see it spelled and it helps with pronunciation.

I’ll be honest, I don’t love the middle names for either of those. Are they family/special names? I get it if they are. If they aren’t, I’d go with something different!

One of my friends has a “Hallie Grey” and I think it’s cute. Some other suggestions…Ella Kate, Hallie Paige, Ella Rose/Hallie Rose, etc.

@Countrymousecitymouse:  I figured as much! I just wanted to check. 🙂 I do like switching the MN’s for Ella & Hallie. I think Faith just doesn’t go with Ella as well and that was my hang up. I like it Ella Marie & Hallie Faith! Hallie Marie is also good!
