Ae-veh-Leen. I like it, it’s very similar to a name we picked out (hypothetically, we’re not TTC) I would use Ava as a nickname. 🙂

Ave-a-leen?  Love it.  Or Ave-a-line.  Love that too!

I read it Av-uh-line. (rhymes with Caroline… as in Sweet Caroline, oh oh oh!) I like it, it reminds me of… Arthurian legends? Camelot and Avalon? Knights of the round table. Massive English nerd though.

I’d probably use Ava as a nickname also.

A-Vuh-Lean. Makes me think of Aibaleen from The Help

A-Vuh-Lean, so it sounds kindof French.  I think it’s pretty.

A (as in at, not ate) – vuh – lean is how I read it. I like it. 🙂

I would pronounce it A-Va-Leen (Eh-Va-Leen). Regardless of how you want it pronounced, very pretty! I am good friends with a girl named Evelien. Call her Ev for short, supposed to be pronounced the same way I have described above but most ppl said Ev-A-Leen.

Very pretty!

I think it’s pretty though, even through all the different pronuciations I’m getting as I read through!

Very pretty name.  Feminine and delicate.

I would pronounce it

Ave (as in avenue) – lean

I don’t like it just because my aunt’s name is Avelina.  It seems very old lady to me.  Then again, even my older auntie was once a child.  If you like it other opinons should not matter 🙂
