Daphne Emilia sounds the smoothest to me, so that gets my vote! Cute name!

Daphne Emilia also flows the best to me, followed by Daphne Alyssa.

eastcoastbee28 :  I like the sound of Daphne Emilia but don’t care for DEK as initials. I’d spell it Amelia

Daphne Emilia has a lovely flow to it my second pick would be Louisa simply because I love that name.

Well, Daphne Alice is the only one that passes the yell test, by my estimation.  In other words, what sounds best and is easiest to yell when they are in trouble and you are yelling at them using their full name.  Because for the most part, that’s the only time it is ever really going to be used except when filling out medical forms, government paperwork, and financial aid forms – and even then it’s usually just a middle initial.

Daphne Alice seems to flow the best.

I think of those Daphne Alice is better.  I think with a two syllable first name you want a one syllable middle name.  I’m not sure if you’d like the DAJ though as the initials . I kind of like Daphne Jane, or Daphne Grace as well (I know not names you listed).

Oh and wanted to add  – not on your list, but Daphne Elise also sounds nice to me and seems to fit the type of names you like.

Grid :  GREAT suggestion! I *love* the name Elise! I have a cousin named Elise, and I’ve always been jealous 🙂  To me it’s the perfect combination of feminine and elegant yet strong.

eastcoastbee28 :  Daphne Alice or Daphne Alyssa sounds most charming to me!

Grid :  Totally respect that your opinion is different than mine, but your post made me realize why I don’t like Daphne Emilia–I feel like with Daphne Emilia the two names sort of run into each other because the -e at the end of Daphne and the e- at the beginning of Emilia are a similar sound. I guess that’s what makes it sound smooth to you, but it actually kind of bugs me that the two sound squished together.

I think Daphne Emilia sounds so cute! It would be cute spelled  Amelia too, then you don’t have two Es in a row.. not that it would really matter if you did.. 🙂  But just an observation!
