No offense but it seems dated and sometimes kids are cruel.

I LOVE it!! I love the “older” names that come back in style (i.e. Sam, Nora, Grace, Evelyn, etc.) 🙂

A friend of mine named her baby Leo! I don’t know if it’s short for Leopold or Leonard, but I love “Leo.”

I love the nickname Leo! It’s so cute. But, whenever I hear Leopold, i think of Leopold and Loeb or Leopold II of Belgium–neither of which are very positive connotations.

as long as you love it though, go for it. I’m sure if I met an adorable and sweet Leopold, I would think very differently about the name.

I like Leo. The full name not so much.

@abbyful:  the full name Leopold. Might as well call him something else like leonardo, leon, or just plainly leo.

I like Leo… not a huge fan of Leopold.
