I love it!  My boss has a son named Leopold.  Nobody has made fun of him!  (I babysit for him and his brother, so I’m around him and other kids a lot)

I like Leo. I hate leopold. It reminds me of leper for some odd reason.

Leonardo is nice though, although not very well liked by many.

Sorry, but horribly dislike Leopold!!! Leo is great though, just name them that!

Leopold sounds stuffy and old fashioned.  I immediately thought of the murderers Leopold and Loeb as well.

Just Leo!

I like Leo, but not Leopold at all. Leo is cute, though.

Why not just go with Leo?

I am not a fan of either to be honest.  Leopold sounds old, snooty and stuffy.  Leo reminds me of the Leo Diamond commercials

I like Leopold more than Leonard (which is the other longer-form version of Leo) and I LOVE Leo. My favorite stuffed lion was named Leo as a kid and I still love the name.

Love the name Leo! I don’t love or hate the name Leopold but I think Leo is super cute. 🙂 🙂

I love both of them! I’m a big fan of old fashioned names though.

I kind of like it. It’s got this dashing English gentleman feel to it – like he’d grow up to wear bow ties and pocket squares. I say do it. (Disclaimer: I’m in the midst of reading Games of Thrones so, grain of salt).

@rbuchanan09:  When I hear this, it’s usually the parents who are cruel, trying to anticipate the things they’re sure kids will come up with.

I love Leo…Leopold can grow on me, not a name I have really heard often…great strong name choice!!
