@isabeexx:  I completely agree with you about the boy’s names.  FI and I can think of a ton of girl names that we agree on, but zero boy names.  I hope that’s not a sign that we’ll have only girls.

I particularly love Celtic and Gaelic boys names.

These would include Rhys (Reece), Cale, Kieran, Ronan and Graeme.

I’m totally over the whateverSON trend unfortunately.  Even thought i love names like Harrison and Carson.

I am in love with the name Ethan, even though it’s incredibly popular. I also like Andrew and Matt, but Fiance isn’t crazy about those names. For girls, I really like the name Harper, but I don’t think it’ll go well with our last name. Fiance is completely in love with the name Sarah. I like the name too, so that helps. I loved Madeline before it got really popular. I also like Ainsley and Harper, but I can’t see them going well with our last name. Mackenzie is cute, too.

We’re still a few years from TTC but we have quite the list already. Our girl name is pretty much set (unless something better comes along) but boy names are another story. We have a list of oh… 20 or so names for girls and like 3 for boys (none of which we really love).

Our girls name is Fiona Michelle. DH and I both love the name Fiona and Michelle is my aunts name.

For boys, we like Elliot, Julian and Maxwell (but call him Maxx). Middle name is still up in the air.

@UpstateCait:  Future Brother-In-Law is named Elliott!  We liked that name, but I guess we can’t use it now.

I am done with having kids, almost 50 years old.

I like Brian for a boy, short form is BRI. I did not name my son this, he got his father’s late brother’s name.

I like Safra for a girl. An old King David movie I saw when I was pregnant with my son, had a lady there named Safra.

We are even TTC for a couple few more years and I already have a top girl and boy name with a couple secondary choices too.

@isabeexx:  There is nothing wrong with liking “Adam” and “Dylan” and such.  I love classic names.

We are going to be ttc in about a month.  We’ve decided on Reese or Reece for a boy, because it is close to my maiden name.  For a girl we were thinking of combining three grandmother’s names, and that is where we are going to have problems.  Margaret, Helen, and Adeline.  I’ve thought of Pearl Adhelle (Margaret means Pearl), Margaret Adhelle, Adheline Margaret…  But then I start thinking that if we are going to do grandmother’s names, maybe we should do grandfather’s names, too.  My grandfather and father are both named Max, but my sister has already given Max as a middle name to her son, so I thought of Reese as a variant of my family name.  And my other grandfather’s name is Orville, but everyone called him Howie, and his grandfather’s name was Wesley.  It’s a difficult choice, and a recent quiz showed that more than 50% of parents regretted the names they gave their children.  So maybe Owen Reese or something.  I’m not good at combining names.

Fiance and i arent pregnant or actively TTC just yet – but our #1 boy name is beau leslie. (leslie is Fiance middle name and his dads first name) and our #1 girl pick is ainsley jane.

other boy names on our list are paxton henry, afton, graier (nickname gray) and liam gregory.

other girls names on our list are aubrey ellen, stella, rory, and norah.

we ACTUALLY already made a gmail acct for both of our #1 picks so they could have a professional email with their name when they grew up. hahahaha. even though gmail may be old news then.. lol

@unruhka:  Megan is a diminutive of Margaret that also means pearl.

We’re about to have a baby girl and her name will be Charlotte June or Silvia June.

My favorite boy name is Elliot Franklin.

Girls: Margot, Stella, Faith, Vera, Nora, Agnes, Isla, Lona, Millie, Arabella, Scarlet, Edith, Rae, Makhaila, Cordelia, Eudora, Jacqueline..

For a boy we really like Isaac or Samuel Joshua (Joshua is DH’s name so our son’s middle name would be that no matter what) and for a girl our favorite is Evelyn Faye (Faye is my middle name). She’d be Evie for short 🙂
