i’ve loved Isla since high school… but I think it might be relegated to a middle name, if we use it at all due to my future husband.

We have agreed our first will probably be Rose Elizabeth. I also am loving the name Caroline lately. It seems so… classy to me. Our daughters will all have two middle names – one being Japanese. My future husband’s paternal side is Japanese so it would be a nice nod to their heritage, specifically his grandma. So our first daughter will likely have “Hisa” or “Kiku” in her name : )

We chose Ellody Grace for our little one due in 6 weeks – i have heard some interesting ones lately though, aside from the usuals that you hear — Laikyn, Greer, and Carrigan!

Anyway – good luck!

@Starling13:  Hazel was our #2 name… It runs in the family and I have hazel eyes. We ended up going with Alexandra, but if we ever have another girl, I’m unearthing Hazel ๐Ÿ™‚

If we are having a girl she will be Anna Claire or Olivia Kate. ๐Ÿ™‚ I think girls names are so much easier than boys!

We love Lily Virginia for a girl. Both family names…and because of that I’m bummed Lily is so popular right now!

Boy will hopefully be Michael William after my husband and dad.

I also love Theodore “Teddy”, Luke, and Noah. Boy names are so easy for me to like, but it’s the girl names I struggle with.

@happybride4eva: Our little girl will be Charlotte Grace, but we’ll call her Charlee as a nickname. We love the idea of using boy names for girls (except we’re spelling it a little differently), but wanted her to have a “sophisticated, feminine” name to fall back on for when she’s older.

Other girl names I love:

DH loved Hadley before I was pregnant, but now doesn’t like it at all. The only other name from my girl list that he loves (or even likes) is Savannah. We will probably save that for a future daughter, if we are blessed with another.

The only two boy names we can agree on are (in order):

I also like these boy names, but DH does not:
Jaxson (Jax for short)

and my all-time favorite boy name (that DH used to love and now hates–sadface): Ryland

My favorite name for a girl forever is

Marla Lotte

Lotte would be short for my grand-mas name of Liselotte and Marla is a name that is so unique, I don’t know anyone who would consider this name for their child. My SO feels reminded of “Fightclub”, so I will have a hard time getting it through when we start TTC and finally will be pregnant (and are having a girl).

For a boy it’s

Elias Paul

Paul is both our grand-pas name..so that middle name is agreed upon. Not sure about SOs feelings about Elias.
