i wanna hear your ideas for future baby names! I love to have a plan for everything so obviously I am already planning what names I would like! I always have a hard time deciding what names sound good together! I like old traditional names! My first pick is Benjamin! Im obsessed. It would probably be Benjamin Michael Ronald (both of our dads names…always worried we wont have more than one boy and would want to make sure we get both covered lol)
other boy names.. James? Charlie? Any others you can think of?
girl names: grace, katelyn, hailey..
thoughts? Suggestions? Share yours?

I’m impressed. I’m due next Friday with a girl and don’t have a name picked out.. or even a list, really. For boys, I always liked Ethan and Henry though. I like Benjamin. That’s adorable.

We have a boys name set in stone, Noah.
For a girl we like Isla or Evie.

If we have a boy we will name him William after FI’s father. Fiance is of Scottish background so he’s extra proud of that name for that reason as well. I just like the name but not Bill (FFIL is Bill, we dont need another Bill lol) so i’ll be calling our son Will or Liam 🙂 for short Idk about Middle name yet. I like Michael but it’s FBIL’s first name and idk if I want it this way :/
I like Calvin(Cal), Samuel (Sam), Benjamin (Ben), Thomas (Tom), Robert (Robby, Bobby), Victor.
For a daughter I think I will name her Katherine. Kat, Katie or Kat for short. It’s been my fave girl name for a looooong time. Idk about middle names yet though. For the longest time I wanted a Katrina…. but then the stupid hurricane was name like that and now it’s ruined.
Other names I like for girls, are mostly vintage names: Margaret (Maggie), Sophie, Allie, Charlotte (Charlie), Jennifer (Jenny), Rosalie (Rosie), Agnes (Aggie), Victoria (Vicky, FI’s ex, so that’s a no go now), Amelia, Eve or Eva, Grace (Gracie), Josephine (Josie), Violet. 🙂

The only one I loved forever was Norah, but my cousin named his daughter Nora (seriously, the only child born into my family was given the name!)
I have a very small family, so that name is out. Oh well. I haven’t really thought much more into it. I love the name Atlas for a boy though, not sure if I would actually ever use it!

Boys: Michael Adler, Douglas Anthony (my dad’s middle name & his dad’s first name), Liam Thomas
Girls: Mallory Ruth, Rebecca Blythe, Lydia Claire/Celeste, Rachel Annalee (Annalee is a play on my mom’s middle name & his mom’s middle name. We also like Naomi Kate but not sure because of what Naomi is backwards, same with Lana :/

I love thinking about names! I feel like your style for boys is classic old testament. So I might suggest Simon. Or maybe branch out a little and say Henry or Jack?
For girls I feel like your style is early 21st century English, so Charlotte, Clara, Ella, Kyla?
Kyla does play off your SOs love of Kyle so that’s kind of neat.

we also loved Atlas for a boy, but it’s gotten a little too popular for our taste.

And to be completely honest I named a foster puppy Atlas already… and as someone who has a very common name for dogs and babies (Zoe), I would feel a little bad doing that to a kid! Sometime people scream “Zooooooeeeee” accross the park and it confuses the heck out of me.
I love Grace. My Mom said if she ever had another girl her name would be Grace or Lucy. James is very classic and sophisticated but cute.

Boys names: Ashton,Nathaniel and James
Girls names: Aubree, Lilly, Hallie

I love older/classic names too 🙂 Our baby girl is due in 11 days – she will be Beverlee Rose. Beverly Lee was my DH’s grandmothers name, so we’re passing it on in our own way. For a boy we had planned on Emmett James.. But we’ll see if that names sticks if second baby happens to be a boy! haha

Boy – Henry (set in stone) and James as middle name
Girl – Olivia (as long as its not in the top 10 the year we give birth!) if its still very popular when we have children Lilly is our second choice, the middle name would be Jean either way (we both have late grandmothers named Jean)

We won’t be TTC for a few years, so these are just ideas for now:
Girl: Chloe (but not if it’s still as popular as it is now), Amalia, Amory, Eilis (pronounced Alish) and Cecelia. The middle name will be Grace (my mom’s name).
We’re less certain about boys…
Boy: Nathan, Grant, and Jack are our top choices, but we don’t LOVE any of them. The middle name will be Mark, no matter what (my dad’s name, and he never had a son).
