I heard DH’s last name as a first name (on Teen Mom, lol!) and I found it very strange.
Parker is a last name on my Dad’s side and I always wanted to name a son that, but friends of ours did, so it’s out.
My daughters name is Presley so yeah
Conner’s a nice name, as are: Jackson, MacKenzie, Murphy, Quinn, and Taylor. It happens a lot in Scotland with names such as Maxwell, Harris, Harrison, Campbell, MacKenzie, Hamilton, Forbes, etc etc
I think I’d consider it, depending on the name. Personally, I like traditional names like Emily, Lily, Catherine, David, and Michael
We gave my son my maiden name as a middle name and I love it! It’s one of the names on the list 😉
I like some of them, sometimes. Some are more traditionally accepted than others, some aren’t even thought of as last names anymore!!
My daughters name is Leighton, I’ve seen online that its commonly a last name but I’ve never met a person with Leighton as their last name.
Yes I like the idea as long as it’s cute. The name Carter has always struck me as cute…ok but some not so much…IMO Reagan isnt so cute sounding. It gets iffy.
I have a friend who has named all of her sons in this manner, and coincidentally, all of them have first names that are the last names of former U.S. Presidents. She even had selected Kennedy if her last son had been a girl.
My maiden name doubles as a popular male first name and a popular last name. The name we’re considering giving our hypothetical son is my moms maiden name minus the ending “s”.
I could never get over parents naming their girls Regan – I always want to be like, HAVEN’T YOU READ KING LEAR?!?!?! I mean it’s better than Goneril, but really.

My first and last names are BOTH first and last names. Now, my married name is ALSO a first AND last name, and all three are popular as heck! So, I always get mail that has it backwards. Come to think of it, all three can be male or female although Ashley is more popular as a first name (which mine is).
