Im a regular poster under a new name after my wedding. I am not yet TTC but have been thinking of names and want your input. With my religion, we name children after family members who have passed away. I have certain letters I need the baby names to start with and have had so much trouble thinking of names. These are my letters: M, C, and R.
This is what i have come up with: Madelyn, Madison (I like Madelyn the best but is it getting too common?). For C I like carter (husband isn’t really on board with that). Also our last name is common and ends in -er (would that sound wrong- think carter miller). I have not thought of R names but suggestions for any letter (C,M, R) are greatly appreciated!! It’s difficult finding names for the letters I need but I’m going to keep the tradition. We will probably TTC in a year.

Have you used a baby name website? You can sort names by gender, meaning, popularity, etc. If you’re naming the babies after deceased relatives, what about giving them the same names altogether?

Thanks, I have looked at websites but I haven’t found anything I really love besides Madelyn & carter & now I’m questioning both. I thought the bees might have some fresh ideas 🙂 I don’t want to use the deceased relatives exact names because they’re older names & I was named after two deceased relatives (one male, one female) but just using the first initial. That seems to be the common way to do it in Judaism. I think I won’t have a big problem with M but the C & R are tough ones.
