The list for me would be way too long. I have a name list for both boys and girls each with about 50 or more names that I love. We agree on about 5. XD

But my top favorites that he doesnt like are:

Lucille

Emma

Claire/Clara

Rose

Isaiah

Silas

Rowan

Cassander

Atticus

@allyfally:  What is with men and not liking Emma or Claire/Clara? There’s got to be some secret man-thing we don’t know about. haha.

We are not TTC for a few months but have discussed names. Of my faves, Fiance has vetoed Zoe for a girl and Milo or Noah for a boy.

@sailor:  If it helps, I have a teenage relative named Eleanor. She loves it because while she’s young she’s Ellie and when she’s older she can go by her full name.

Not even TTC yet, but my mom wanted to name me Elspeth and my dad was like, “Absolutely not.”  Haha, I’m actually really glad he put his foot down on that one, not because I think it’s an ugly name or anything (I actually met an Elspeth a few years ago), but because the name they ended up giving me is WAY better and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

We aren’t even sure if we want children but when we have name discussions all of my boys names go out the window:

Guillaume (my #1)

Jameson

Harrison

Luca (he kinda liked this one)

@AmeliaBedelia:  He says Emma and Claire are just too popular. I dont know what he’s talking about, I have never met an Emma or Claire in our city. Never had one in any year books or anything.

@graciej:  See, that’s what I thought, too!  Ellie for a nickname and then she can grow into Eleanor.  I haven’t given up on it yet.

@allyfally:  I can see Emma as popular (I think it’s been in the top 10 for a bit) but I haven’t heard Claire regularly ever. I only know one IRL and she’s my age.

I absolutely adore the name Analee (pronounced ah-nuh-lee) for a little girl but my DH vetoed it since it has the word ‘anal’ in it. Boo.
