Boy: William (set in stone) Liam for short. Not sure about middle name yet. I also like Charles (Charlie), Thomas (Tom), Benjamin (Ben), Theodore (Teddy or Theo, vetoed by me cause it was an ex’s name)
Girl: Katherine(Kate), Elisabeth (Elsie), Angelica (Angie), Charlotte (Charlie), Margaret (Maggie), Victorian (Vicky, has been vetoed by Darling Husband, cause it’s an ex’s name), Frances, Alice, Agnes, Nellie, Florence, and many more Im sure Im forgetting. I would have to have 20 daughters to use all my fave girl names it’s gonna be so hard to chose.

MrsMeowton : Also obsessed with the Beatles! And also love Harrison as a first name.
Related to the Beatles, my absolute favorite name for a boy is Winston, and name for a girl Julia.
Others I like: Oliver, Geraldine, Murphy (already named one of my cats this), Josephine. I know I have so many more but I can’t remember them lol.

garnobella : Aria I liked when I first heard it reading Pretty Little Liars but Arya in Game of Thrones made me really love it. Louisa is from The Sound of Music and also similar to Louise from Bob’s Burgers who is one my favorite TV characters. All the others I listed I just like but couldn’t say where I heard them first. I’m much more prone to find a name I like from fiction than from meeting someone in real life.
My husband and I have decided not to use any family names. I’m named after my aunt and grandma (first and middle name) and while I love them both I’ve just never felt like the name was mine or like it suited me very well. Our plan is to have a list of 3 or 4 names and not decide on the final name until the baby is here.

beelinetowhere123 : You and me both sister, and I’ve NEVER wanted girls. I wanted 4 boys… now it’ll be One, Two, Three and Four at this rate. Sigh!

ImMrsSnow : I have a William aka Liam! Rarely see others consider the two together.
My favorite boy name is Camden, but my sister had a baby 2 months before me and used that. Also love Hudson, Grayson, and Harrison.
For girls, Amelia, Caroline, and Clara.

my favorite is what we named DS: Elliott Jude.
(he is named for my dad and DH’s mom who both passed away before DS was born)
we are pregnant with #2 and i’m worried I won’t be able to come up with a name as perfect.

We are stuck between Gideon or Lincoln..baby is due in 8wk so we are just going to wait to see what he looks like. Family /friends are divided about 90/10 in favour of Lincoln.
We we never able to agree on any girl names though, so luckily it is a boy.

Amelia, Audrey, Annabeth, Violet, Charlotte, Danika, Grace. Darling Husband really wants Danika but I’m leaning towards Amelia or Annabeth at this point. I initially wanted Grace but I’m unsure as our surname only has one syllable. Lauren is my absolute fav but Darling Husband vetoed it 🙁
Eli, Theo, Hudson. Darling Husband vetoed Theo and Hudson and we are going with Eli if this babe is a boy

garnobella : I flip flop on girls names constantly, that’s why I stopped trying to find a girl name that I lovedddddd and could keep at #1 and mutually agreed with Darling Husband to use *his* favorite name. It’s not my favorite, but I like it well enough and he adores it. I feel a lot less anxious now that it’s been taken out of my hands. If we have a second child of the same sex? Welp, back to the drawing board where the kid never gets named.

Just wanted to say, nobody can ‘steal’ a name , they are , as it were , public domain. If your second cousin has a baby first and calls her Charlotte which is the name you always intended for your daughter , then too bad , there are two girl in the family with that name .IT DOESN”T MATTER.
But please spell them correctly/traditionally, ie Dimitri not Damitri , Madeleine not Maddelynnne etc . Uusally the the etymology and meaning of the name is present in its proper spelling .
