Alright ladies, my SIL is due with my first little niece or nephew in March and I want to get a pool going for them. Just to get it out of the way, I haven’t asked permission but it’s totally something they would like and I want it to be a surprise.
I was hoping I could get a few suggestions from Bees who have done this in the past as to which website/template worked best. I would like to be able to use the following criteria:
1. Sex (they find out on the 29th of this month)
5. Hair color (or none at all)
6. Eye color (I know this can change, but we’ll just go with whatever they come out with)
7. Maybe time of day
Can anyone make a few suggestions? I want to get started on it right away so that I can collect maybe $5 or so and split the pot two or three ways between the bettors.

I was also thinking maybe a little surprise party where everyone fills out the sheets in front of them and has a few drinks/apps. I’ll make some cute mocktails for the expectant Mother 🙂

One more leetle bump for this thread and then I will let it die 🙂

1. Sex (they find out on the 29th of this month): Definitely a girl! I feel it!
2. Date: 26th, that’s my anniversary!
3. Weight: 6 lbs, 11 oz
4. Length: 21″
5. Hair color (or none at all): None!
6. Eye color (I know this can change, but we’ll just go with whatever they come out with): Grey!
7. Maybe time of day: 11:12 AM!

@ChuckNorris: LOL I love the fact that you’re playing along, but I want to organize a party for all of our friends and have them play! I need resources for how to do so and I really can’t seem to find much with the searches I’ve done.
You’re adorable hahaha!

We’ve done this for SIL twice.. I think you may have too many questions there. Unless one question is going to dictate who wins and the other is just for fun? Or you can assign 1 point per right answer and the person with the most points wins.
When we did it, we picked a day (which determined the winner) and the sex (for bragging rights if you got both correct but mostly for fun).
Just have a master list that everyone’s information is on instead of several bits of paper floating around.

@MrsSawyer: They really like looking at the spreads for sports games, so I was thinking of actually doing a point spread for each category! For example, if you guess the weight within 5 ounces it’s 5 points, within 10 ounces it’s 3 points…etc and I could do that with other categories like the date and length since that has a little more wiggle room. I don’t know if I’m making this too complex, but I really wanted to go all-out with the categories and make it into a real contest. Am I making sense or do I just sound crazy? Hahaha 🙂

@MrsCarnival: Yep, you make sense. If everyone is used to that kind of system then go for it. I don’t think you need any help 🙂
