What do you ladies think of this dress with a shrug/cropped cardigan, black tights/leggings and a pair of black pumps?
It’s not a “maternity” dress but I think the empire should work and I can rewear after pregnancy! 🙂
Or do you have a cute dress you’ve seen that would work for the shower? Under $50 please 🙂

Its cute! But will you get to try it on first? if its not maternity the front hem may end up being much higher than the back because your tummy will pull it up.

Its cute! but I think black tights/pumps are going to look really heavy with such a light color/fabric.

Eh … have you tried it on? I seems a little short already and I fear that once you fit a bump in there it will be way too short in the front since there is no extra fabric to accomodate it.

I think it’s cute and the whole outfit sounds great! I think it will only depend on where the dress hits you length-wise.

@regberadaisy: I think it would work great on you! I know PP’s mentioned it being short, but if I remember from your pics on the baby board, you are shorter and you have a cute lil’ bump so I think the length would be fine. And when you posted that pic of you in the pink top with the leggings it looked ADORABLE!
I like this 🙂 where is it from?

I haven’t seen a pic of your bump lately, but if I remember correctly you are very thin and have a smaller (but wicked cute!) bump. I’m betting this dress would work for you, but agree that you should try to try it on first.

It is a cute dress, but my worry would be how the cardigan would lay over the ruffles in the back – it could look bulky.

It’s on Beyond The Rack right now for $37.99 and I have a $20 credit! And it’s returnable so I think I’m going to give it a try.
Hm. What about nude tights and gray (pretty much the same shade as the model’s) wedges?
Thanks! Yeah, I’m 5’5″ and the model is 5’8 so it will hit closer to the knee for me.
My bump sadly has not gotten much bigger since the last pic I posted!
Because of that I’m not as worried about it riding up too high in the front.
I’m worried about the back as well! But for that price I think if not I can save it for a summer dress post pregnancy. 😉

you’re tiny… i am sure this should be fine on you.
i am bigger than you are and i still wear lots of non-maternity dresses.
I think it will look adorable with some cute black tights!!! go for it!!!
