I recently helped throw a baby shower for one of my friends and these are the games we played:

The Wright Family Poem (google that and the poem will be the first link) which was a big hit. I passed around 2 prizes at the same time to add to the confusion!

Advice cards/Baby Forecast Stats, Baby Traits game (will baby have mom or dad’s eyes, nose, etc), and What’s Mommy Wearing (where Mommy walks out of the room and guest have to rememeber if she wore earring, types of clothing, how many times she used the bathroom, etc). I brought all of these games from Etsy seller madebyaprincess, but if your a creative person I’m sure you can make them yourself.

I also threw together a quick Baby Gift BINGO game where I created a 5×5 table in Word and the guest had to fill in the gifts they thought she would get and then cross them off their board as she opened her presents.  First person to get BINGO won a prize.  That one was really fun and it got everyone involved in the gift opening.

I went to my SILs baby shower a few months ago – we played gift bingo and that was a lot of fun!

Another fun one was to make as many names as possible using only the first letters from the parents names. The parents were Laura and Miles so we had to come up with as many names (like Ali, Mia, Sam, Lisa, etc) as we could. The person who came up with the most names won a prize ($5 gift card to Starbucks) that was a lot of fun!

I’m a big fan of the “Baby Name Pool” which you can’t award prize(s) for until after birth. Have the guests guess Date of birth, time, length, weight, sex, etc

I also like Bingo..basic but fun and easy 🙂

This one may or may not be appropriate for your crowd: Get 10 pictures of women’s faces, 5 of women in labor, 5 of women having an orgasm. Have guests guess which is which; whoever gets the most correct wins.
