    I would give as big as you can comfortably afford. A breast pump is probably a must-have, so if no one else gets it, they will have to go out of pocket for it.

    If you feel a little more comfortable going for something slightly less expensive, that’s fine too.


    The only thing I honestly wouldn’t do is the lots of small things. Plenty of people not as close to the couple will get those.

    honestly as someone who is currently pregnant….I wouldn’t even think twice if someone got me a breastpump and I wouldn’t think its showy….in fact, I would sincerely appreciate it. Regarding your wedding: I’d probably give you a gift equal to what you gave me on my wedding day (considering they already bought the Bridesmaid or Best Man dress too). So, you guys are even….Not that being “even” matter between friends!

    The breast pump and the pack n’ play are essentials that will suck for the mom and dad to have to buy themselves, so I’d buy one of those.
