(Closed) Baby won't take Bottle and I'm suppose to go away – WWYD?

    You can talk to your pediatrician about it. My ped’s advice is that, by a year, they really only need 12-16 oz of dairy per day, but it doesn’t have to be milk. It can be yogurt, cheese, kefir, etc. 

    In my opinion, I think you’d be fine leaving for the weekend – your little one will be just fine spending 48 hours eating yogurt/cheese instead of drinking milk, and he probably would drink some milk eventually – but it’s really your call. You’re definitely not a bad mom if you go, but it’s also okay if your instincts are telling you not to go. 

    Have you tried a straw cup? My son is 14 months and still isn’t great with a sippy cup but he loves his straw cup. We have the Munchkin one with the soft silicone straw. Some kids also love that 360 cup too – my kid doesn’t, but it’s worth a shot.
