Here’s his birth story in a nutshell: Labor started on his due date, but Baby X arrived on November 1. He came after 37 hours of labor (21 hrs to get to 3cm, another 2 to get to 6cm, and ending with 5 hrs at 10cm [pushing for only about 2.5 of those hrs]), possibly the most ridiculous contractions ever (3 mins apart for most of labor, then 6 minutes apart, then 6 minute long contractions with basically no breaks between, etc.) all ending with a cesarean because of meconium in the amniotic fluid, a head coming out at the wrong angle, and dropping baby heart rate. And he’s so very worth it all.
I’m not sure how it all works, but I didn’t know it was possible to love someone this much, especially when that someone cluster feeds all night. 🙂
