I’m trying to decide what kind of flowers to wear in my hair. See below for a pic from my hair trial – I wasn’t really crazy about those flowers. The stylist recommended that I have my florist wire four flowers together like a fan if that makes sense. I’m actually now considering just using baby’s breath instead …. what do you think? I think it could look kind of soft and romantic, but I also don’t want anyone having 80s flashbacks!
Pics of my dress are here: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/ordered-my-dress-it-has-sleeves-help-with-accessories I will wear a simple, two-layer, elbow-length, raw-edge veil during the ceremony. We’re doing a morning ceremony outside, so I like the idea of flowers in my hair instead of a hair comb (though there are some lovely ones!)

I love baby’s breath and think it would look gorgeous with your updo and wedding dress. By The Way, your wedding dress is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. My jaw seriously dropped when I clicked over to your dress thread.

I am doing baby’s breath so I say yes! My mom wore baby’s breath in her hair on her wedding day so it is kind of my little homage to her 🙂

I’m totally going to do it so I think it’s a great idea! Gorgeous dress by the way!

I vote yes. Do you have a pic of you with the veil on though?

It has to be done very well, keep the greenery in it and make sure it’s in little puffs. I’ve seen way to many brides do it wrong and it looks like theyve got crazy bad dandruff in their pictures

Your dress is beautiful, and I love baby’s breath… I actually think it would work really well with the syle of your dress. Baby’s breathe has a very lacey feeling to it. Don’t think of it as “80s” think of it as “classic”! 😉

It’s a hot look I’d consider for my own bridal ‘do.
Seeing how your dress looks i’d go with either this:
