- Wedding: June 2014 - Gold Hill Gardens
We are trying to finish off our invitations this weekend and I’m a bit stuck. We are having a kid friendly wedding, but will have two of my former students attending as babysitters. I am trying to figure out how to describe this for an insert to the invitation that I will send to the parents and grandparents. Right now I have “We will have two babysitters with movies, toys, and games available at Gold Hill Gardens throughout the ceremony and celebration.” As I read this though, it makes me wonder if people will think that kids aren’t supposed to be involved at all. We are having babysitters because we will have a significant gap between the ceremony and reception (about 4 hours). There are wineries and breweries nearby that have tasting rooms and we thought people might enjoy visiting them, or even just having some adult time while visiting with old friends. Does anyone have any ideas how I can describe this on the insert? Thank you!
