After much pushback from my family- we have settled on an ADULTS-ONLY reception…great news for us since we want this to be an awesone party, but now I am getting concerned that a lot of our out of town guests simply won’t come because they don’t want to leave their kids at home. (People are travelling from DC, Texas, Philly, Cincinnati) I had a nightmare that only 30 people came so I am kind of freaking out! A couple questions for you all:
1. What is the age cut-off for Adults-Only? Over 18? Over 16? Over 21?
2. Does anyone know of childcare/babysitting services in Chicago that I could arrange for my guests if they want to attend the wedding?

We will be using sittercity.com to find a few sitters for the night of the wedding. I recommend making a post there!

I tihnk the cut off is whatever you want it to be. Ours is 17, but do what makess the most sense for your guest list. We are giving the names of nannies we know, so no specific service. Good Luck!

We’re also having an adults only reception, besides my youngest brother who is still a teenager and a bridesman, the rest of our guests will all be 20 or over…but honestly the age cut-off can be whatever you want it to be, just look at the dynamics of your guest list and play around with how it would make an effect overall
