- Wedding: June 2014 - Italiano's Humble
So, talking last night, FH and I thought an obstacle course would be HELLA fun. I’m not fit at all, but had already intended to start working out.Our b-party(parties), will be the Saturday before the wedding(so 4 days before), so we girls aren’t TOO worried about bruising.
We have 2 options-& we’re looking at at least 10 people.
So, we figure,
#1-Indoor Course-course around 11am(we’ll book their birthday party package, LOL, it includes pizza-the mgr suggested it!) It’s completely indoor, and with 11+ people, only $12/pp(including water, gatorade, and pizza afterwards). And even though it’s not an actual party, b/c we’re doing competition style(guys v. girls), we get the whole room to ourselves.
#2-Outdoor course-no exact details yet, nor price. The place is new, and the manager is getting married tomorrow, so I have to call back Monday. However, the assistant said they would probably work a deal with us, and let us bring in food, etc, as they’ve been open for a couple months, and the outdoor course has only been used a couple times for regular work outs. So they would love to get the word out.
Afterwards, ladies go have dinner(and looking like an adult oriented shower, LOL), guys do whatever. We meet up at the bar, and losing group from earlier course buys winners first round!( I won’t lie, only 3 women are athletic, that I’m aware of. Future Sister-In-Law is active Army, BFF/BM has taken the CA state police boot camp, and best man’s wife is just all around athletic. The men(almost everyone is either former/current Army, and a few prior Marines. We’re possibly screwed, LOL!!!)
I added a poll, to see indoor/outdoor preference(winter in Houston is mostly rainy). Also, to ask, any better ideas of the win/lose sector, versus first round? We wanted something fun, but can’t figure it out!
