Print out the pic and bring it to a jeweler! You can use it as inspiration to have something custom made, or they can have it as a starting point to make suggestions of pieces they already have in stock.

Well… the reason why that ring would cost a pretty penny is because it has a 2 ct center stone! 😛

If you like the style, just choose a stone within your price range and have a similar halo & pave setting created for it! (They are very trendy right now, you won’t have any problems finding a jeweler who either already has that exact style in stock or can design it for you.)

Take a look at this one (which I’ve had my eye on for awhile). It’s from Brilliant Earth, so the diamonds are all Canadian and conflict free (a major plus for me!) Once you click on the link, you can click on “more views” to see close ups and different angles.

Myabe like this. I didn’t pay attention to the C’s on it, just to warn you.

You could also try the Zales “Design Your Own” feature on their website. That’s how we bought my ring and it is gorgeous. I looked and they do halo settings. You then get to pick whatever grade of diamond you want to fit the budget!

You could take it to a jewler and ask for a similar style but with a smaller stone.

Also the name Neil Lane adds a huge price to the tag just like Tiffanys. Dont be intimated, you can find something similar somehwere else.

Right MissGreen, I didn’t even see that it was a Neil Lane. That’ll definitely add huge mark-ups. Like I said, the style is pretty much a basic pave halo, which is super on trend right now and available at nearly every jeweler you could find. You’ll definitely be able to get that look for a fraction of what ABC, I mean… ahem — Jake… paid for Vienna’s! (<–gag, lol! Yeah right! 🙂

@Zippy:  pompeii3, in my experience is terrible. I ordered my FH’s ring from there thinking I was getting a smokin’ deal. It was terrible. Light weight, thin, not comfort fit as advertised. They claimed to be custom making his ring to my specs, it was the wrong size entirely and not at all as we had discussed. Terrible vendor.

If you don’t want to sacrifice on stone size, you could also go for moissanite. A 2ct moissanite would cost a lot less than a 2ct diamond and be just as beautiful! Moissaniteco.com has some in the same style too! HereHere and Here for example.
