@CherryWaves: I am not really worried because my FI’s best man is his brother and his brother considers me a little sister so he knows to not have things get out of hand with my Fiance and also I really trust my Fiance and we have set up a rule that there can be strippers as long as there is no touching involved.

I told my future brother in law who is planning the bachelor party that the only rule I have is that the stripper doesn’t touch him or him touch her and he was like oh really that’s all I thought you were going to say no strippers. I said no there can be strippers i just don’t want them all up on my man.. he can LOOK but no touching.

FI’s brother is more excited about the party than my Fiance lol because our wedding is a week away from his bday and he’s going to throw it like 2 week before the wedding so he’s treating it like it’s his bday party..

@CherryWaves: my friend who’s getting married in may is not having bachelor/ or bachellorette parties and she said it’s because she doesn’t trust strippers.

I kept my thoughts to myself but I thought you can trust your Fiance right?? I feel like with these parties it’s all about trust and setting down any rules you have BEFORE the party  instead of being upset with each other afterwards.

My Fiance doesn’t plan to have one. I think he knows that fair is fair, HA! JK, but seriously, we are both older (he’s 48) and that ship has sailed.

I have heard some horror stories firsthand so that was in the back of my mind but I trust my husband’s friends as much as I do my husband. They never would’ve done anything even remotely disrespectful of me or our relationship. He was drunk drunks drunk still the next morning but I knew there was nothing to worry about!

oh boy… I sense this thread may get quite fired up as past bachelor party ones have.

I’ll bite and say that I didnt care about the bachelor party.  He’d been to a few that involved gambling, clubs, strip clubs, etc… his was something of the sort too.  Whatever, just silly guys excuse to have some (imo) harmless “guy” fun.

@CherryWaves: stippers and bachelor parties in genreal seem to be a hot topic that can get into some big debates.

@pinkshoes: Yea, it’s just a matter of time. lol

I wasn’t worried about DH’s bachelor party at all. He doesn’t like strip clubs or strippers and made that clear to his best man/brother (I actually don’t really have a problem with strippers but hey, if he doesn’t like them then that’s cool with me!). His bachelor party consisted of a botched brewery tour (BIL didn’t call ahead and they were closed for a private party), some bar hopping and dinner. Darling Husband was texting me everytime he’d go to the bathroom, lol. He was home by 11 and not even really that drunk. So yea… nothing really to worry about there. 🙂

We decided not to have any bach parties.  Neither of us like to party or go anywhere without eachother, so it was a very easy choice!
