afowler0828: It really depends on your budget (and everyone else’s!) and the sorts of activies the bride likes! Is she low key? Does she like to party? All of this will factor into what you do. If she likes to party, she might love bar hopping or hitting up a local club. If she’s low key, a boozey brunch, pedicures, or a night in with wine and boardgames might be her style.

Just try to think about what your bride likes to do, and then figure out what can fit in the budget from there.

What sorts of things does the bride like to do? Any live performances going on that she would enjoy? A cooking or painting class? (Preferably with wine being served!) Truth or dare? If she’s into it, maybe a casino? Swimming pool? Beach? Skinny dipping? 😉 I’ve never been to Savannah but I believe I’m not mistaken that you’ve got lots of water there, haha. Maybe your gal is more the quiet, homebody type and would be most comfortable hanging out in the hotel room with drinks and room service, reminiscing with old photos and telling old stories.

As an introverted homebody bride myself, the idea of a wild bachelorette party in which I’m forced to participate in “fun” activities in public just sounds horrible and humilitating. Though if I got drunk enough I might seriously consider midnight skinny dipping. Haha. So just a word of warning to make sure whatever you plan is something she will actually like. 🙂

afowler0828: Pregamming at the hotel can be a great way to budget because it’s obviously less expensive to purchase bottles of alcohol than it is to drink at the bar. You could all order pizza, pregrame with some Cards Against Humanity, and then hit the town!

What you have planned so far sounds lovely. I’m sure she will be floored!

Why not sign up for a dance class (salsa, modern, pole)?

afowler0828:

I have been to Savannah, GA for both of my sisterss bachelorette parties (family tradition). I would highly recommend doing the Ghost Drinking/Bar Tour at night and the Sight seeing trolly during the day. A lot of the locals also hang out in some of the squares and play giant games (like banana grams- it’s a blast)! A must stop is Moon River Brewing Company! Every time I go to Savannah I try to stop there for dinner first (we usually drive in)

I hope you have so much fun!

afowler0828: are you willing to drive a bit? You could always go to Tybee Island for a day…I’m not sure what their alcohol laws are, but a beach day with drinks and just lounging might be fun! Even in February, GA won’t be SO cold you can’t hang out on the beach. Hilton Head and Charleston are also reasonably close, so if you wanted some shopping or something and you can’t find what you want in Savannah you could head there. Savannah, HHI, and Charleston all have fun tours and activities, so look around! Or check out the riverboat cruises in Savannah! If she likes to drink/party, I bet there’d be a fun dinner cruise you could take and then head to bars. Check out Rocks on the Roof in the Bohemian Hotel on River Street…it’s a really nice rooftop bar with amazing views!

afowler0828: Do a pole party!!! So much fun!

We went to a spa during the day of mine and it was soooo relaxing!

Otherwise, I would say snacks at the hotel, drinks, games, supper, then bar hopping. Sounds like lots of fun to me!
